Ireland prop will move to English Premiership next season
Leinster and Ireland prop Marty Moore will join English Premiership side Wasps - just days after a U-turn appeared to have been made.
The English club confirmed the deal, announcing that the 24-year international will link up with them ahead of next season.
Moore had been expected to make the move to the Premiership side until an intervention including Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt was believed to have potentially swayed him into staying in Ireland.
However that appears not have convinced him to remain on these shores and commenting on the move, Moore said: "I’m really pleased to have signed a contract with Wasps to join next season. I am looking forward to working with Dai Young and his coaching team as well as the squad and am excited about the challenge ahead in the Aviva Premiership. However, up until the move I am fully committed to Leinster Rugby and I would like to thank everyone here as well as the Leinster fans for the support they have shown me."
Earlier it was confirmed that injury will keep him out of the upcoming Six Nations campaign.
