Maverick Sabre is certainly one of the most unique voices in the music world and it's now three years since he burst on the scene to reach No 3 on the Irish Album Chart and No 2 on the UK one.
That album Lonely Are The Brave was a breakthrough for the singer, songwriter and rapper, who also made quite an impression when he appeared on Later ... with Jools Holland in 2011:
The London-born, Wexford-raised performer returns with a new album Innerstanding which will be released on October 30th as well as new single Come Fly Away and he was kind enough to take time to talk about his other passion on Team 33's first My Club of the new season.
Maverick Sabre (or Michael Stafford to use his real name) has been an Arsenal fan since childhood and he chatted to me about his early experiences of supporting the Gunners as well as picking out his favourite players.
