For many football fans and most neutrals, Leicester City were adopted as last season's 'second team' as Claudio Ranieri led his team to the most unlikely success story in English football.
Their closest rivals in the closing stages of the campaign were Tottenham Hotspur, who pushed them all the way until Mauricio Pochettino's side drew with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. The London club's late run of poor form saw them concede second position, but still qualify for the Champions League.
Tottenham have now picked up where they left off last season. Spurs sit in fourth position, one point behind Arsenal and 10 behind leaders Chelsea.
Chelsea have been the team to beat in recent weeks and have the chance to stretch their winning run in the league to 14 games. Pochettino now reckons the same fans who wanted Tottenham to concede the title to Leicester, are hoping to see them beat Antonio Conte's side this week.
"Maybe we will feel how Leicester felt last season," he said. "It was all the teams with them and against us. Maybe [Chelsea] will feel the same as us last season.
"Chelsea arrive in a very good shape, we too, and it will be a very tough game but a great opportunity for us to try and stop them and reduce the gap.
"I think it is important for the Premier League and for us that we try and win. Then our challenge is to be in the top four."
Chelsea wobbled only slightly during a 4-2 victory over Stoke last time out and will be hoping to set the record for most consecutive wins in the same Premier League season after equalling Arsenal's record of 13. The longest ever run across league seasons also belongs to Arsenal, 14 games stretching from 10 February 2002 up to 24 August 2002.
