The 37-year-old will face Dan Henderson in a rematch of their UFC 100 bout back in 2009
Michael Bisping will enjoy home comforts during his first UFC middleweight title defence this year, as he takes on Dan Henderson in Manchester.
Bisping, Britain's first UFC champion, will face the American on 8 October at UFC 204 in the Manchester Arena.
The 37-year-old stunned Luke Rockhold at UFC 199 to win the title after stepping in on short notice to fight the man who had dethroned Chris Weidman.
The pair meet for the second time, with their last meeting coming back in 2009 at UFC 100, where Henderson emerged victorious via KO.
Henderson was beaten by Vitor Belfort during a UFC Fight Night event last November, but rebounded to pick up a performance of the night award against Hector Lombard on the main card of UFC 199.
"Revenge is sweet," Bisping wrote on his Instagram account. "Then the no1 contender can get it, Before all you idiots start posting pictures of fucking alligators."
