Michael Conlan was clearly enraged by the decision to award Russia's Vladimir Nikitin victory in their Rio 2016 bantamweight quarter-final on Tuesday afternoon.
Speaking after the fight, he told Newstalk Sport that he felt "robbed" by the judges' decision.
But the Team Ireland fighter let some dark humour shine through afterwards when he tweeted directly to the official channel of the Russian president Vladimir Putin, with the simple message: "Hey Vlad [Putin]. How much did they charge you bro?"
Hey Vlad @PutinRF_Eng
How much did they charge you bro?? @AIBA_Boxing #Rio2016 😘
