Milestones aplenty as Leinster reveal team for Glasgow

Ross Molony will captain Leinster for the first time on Friday night as the province welcome Glasgow Warriors to the RDS for the penultimate round of Guinness Pro 12 fixtures.

The 22 year old second row has been named in the starting team by head coach Leo Cullen.

It will also mark the last regular season game at the RDS for long time Ireland and Leinster tighthead prop Mike Ross ahead of his retirement at the end of the campaign, as Leinster play their final pre-playoff match away at Ulster next Saturday. He has been named to start in the front row.

It will also be the final regular season match at Leinster's home venue for South African Zane Kirchner before his departure to the Newport Gwent Dragons at the end of this season. 

Jack Conan will win his 50th cap in the back row, while centre Tom Daly will start for the first time at the RDS at centre. 

Leinster's fixture against Glasgow takes place at 7.45pm at the RDS on Friday night.

Leinster XV vs Glasgow Warriors: Zane Kirchner, Adam Byrne, Rory O'Loughlin, Tom Daly, Fergus McFadden; Ross Byrne, Nick McCarthy; Peter Dooley, James Tracy, Mike Ross, Ross Molony, Mick Kearney, Dominic Ryan, Josh van der Flier, Jack Conan.

Replacements: Richardt Strauss, Jack McGrath, Michael Bent, Ian Nagle, Dan Leavy, Jamison Gibson-Park, Joey Carbery, Noel Reid.

Meanwhile, Glasgow have also named their team and Tommy Seymour will make his 100th Glasgow Warriors, starting at full back.
