Don't Look Back in Anger to be played before England's friendly with France

Oasis' hit song Don't Look Back in Anger will be played before England's friendly with France in Paris on Tuesday night to remember victims of recent terror attacks in London and Manchester.

PA report that the song, which has become an anti-terror anthem, will be played to honour the eight people who were killed in the London Bridge attack one week ago and the 22 victims of the Manchester bomb attack on May 22nd.

A minute's silence will also be held before kick-off. Prime Minister Theresa May is expected to attend the match with new French president Emmanuel Macron.

The words of "God Save The Queen" will be put up on the big screen for all fans to sing - just as Wembley did for "La Marseillaise" following the Paris attacks in 2015.

Meanwhile, England boss Gareth Southgate said a change in policy helped England win the U20 World Cup.

Victory in South Korea made them the first men's world champions since 1966. Southgate was U21 manager before stepping into his current role.

He says only recently, have all England's youth sides started playing teams across the globe.

"When I was a senior player playing against Brazil, it was the first experience I ever had of running out against them," he said at a press conference on Monday morning.

"Our younger players are used to playing against these other guys."
