Missed any of today's football action? Here's your Premier League Round-Up

It seemed for all the while in the that we'd have to endure dull afternoon in the Premier League with many of the 3pm kick-offs scoreless at half-time. Oh yee of little faith.

We begin at Old Trafford, where Manchester United overcame a stern Liverpool challenge to run out 3-1 winners.

Daley Blind opened the scoring in the second half through a well-worked set piece and rifled home to give the home side the lead.

Ander Herrera then slotted home from the spot before Christian Benteke's acrobatic effort threw the Reds a lifeline twenty minutes from time.

David de Gea was back between the sticks for United after penning a new 4-year deal with the club yesterday, but could do little to prevent the Belgian's goal.

Anthony Martial rounded off the scoring for the home side on his debut, a superb jinking run finished by a cool side footed finish, a finish Thierry Henry would have been proud of.

The world's most expensive teenager became the first Man Utd player since 1936 to score on his club debut in a League fixture v Liverpool.

Next to Goodison Park in today's early kick-off, where Everton entertained champions Chelsea.

It was everything but a championship winning performance from Jose Mourinho's side as they were beaten 3-1 thanks to not one but three moments of magic from substitute, Steven Naismith.

His two goals before half-time were only overshadowed by Nemanja Matic's wonder strike, to reduce the deficit to a goal before half time.

But Naismith capped off a wonderful afternoon and finished smartly to give Roberto Martinez's side all three points.

Title chasing Manchester City maintained their 100%, albeit by the skin of their teeth after a late goal from teenager Kelechi Iheanacho to claim a 1-0 win.

Alana Pardew's side huffed and puffed for 90 minutes, but it was the teenager emblazoned with the number 72 that blew Palace away.

Wes Hoolahan got himself amongst the goals to give Norwich a 3-1 victory in the battle of the promoted sides at Carrow Road.

Eddie Howe had praised his side's steely determination in recent week', but another loss for the Cherries is beginning to smtink of the hard-luck loser story who put in a good performance but always seem to just come up short.

Cameron Jerome and Matt Jarvis killed of the game before Steve Cook added a late consolation goal for Bournemouth.

A lot of questions surrounded Arsene Wenger for not getting the cheque book out in this summer's transfer market to bring in a new striker.

Arsenal delivered the perfect rebuttal with a 2-0 win over Stoke, with both striking options, Theo Walcott and Olivier Giroud on the scoresheet.

Stoke struggled for the majority of the game, an ironic cheer from the travelling fans when the Potters got the ball out f the opposition half told you all you need to know about Arsenal's dominance.

Watford got on the scoresheet for the first time in three games, as they ran out 1-0 winners over an in-form Swansea side.

It was Odion Ighalo who gave the home fans something to cheer about and Garry Monk admitted after the match that his side, an unchanged sie that beat Manchester United two weeks ago, simply wasn't good enough on the day.

The final match of the day was the meeting of West Brom and Southampton at the hawthorns, were neither side could break the deadlock.

Shane Long didn't make a cameo appearence from the becnh, but one striker who did was Saido Berhahino, who received a mixed reaction from the home fans. His integration back into the squad looks as though it'll be a lengthy one, so watch this space.
