Munster have confirmed the signings of ex-academy player Darren O'Shea and former Ireland A tighthead prop John Andress.

The duo will join up from the 2016-17 season onwards.

O'Shea, who came through Munster's academy, has been at Worcester Warriors of the English Premiership since the 2014-15 season where he has gone on to make 27 appearances.

Andress has signed on a one-year deal which commences in July, with the Ulster native making the move from Edinburgh.

Munster also had updates on the injury front, confirming that Denis Hurley (calf), Kevin O'Byrne (knee and calf), Peter O'Mahony (knee) and BJ Botha (knee) are all continuing with their respective recovery programmes.
