Ahead of the weekend's Premier League matches, some teams have tried to have a little bit of fun with their fans on April Fools' Day.

Southampton and Arsenal were two of the worst culprits as the revealed a new emoji-laden crest and a sunroof on the stadium respectively.

Ronald Koeman's side are one of the most progressive on social media, and they have followed that trend by notifying fans of a crest change for Southampton.

In London, Arsenal revealed that their Emirates Stadium is to be installed with a new sunroof, in conjunction with one of the team's sponsors. The new roof will also be used as a video screen inside the stadium.

It's great to see teams engaging with their fans, but these are two pretty poor efforts.
