OTB AM SPORTS ROUND-UP | Leinster overload at no.10, cultured Klopp, and BBC NI's GAA TV coverage

Another day another morning of backpage headlines in the world of sport.

As always we started OTB AM with the best of today's backpage stories as Off The Bench's Cliona Foley joined Off The Ball's Ger Gilroy to run through the newspapers.

We talked about the idea of Leinster giving up one of their fly-half prospects in Joey Carbery and Ross Byrne due to supposed pressure from the IRFU, with Ulster and Munster in need of a new no.10 and Ireland needing a back-up to Johnny Sexton who's actually getting minutes on the field.

Bad news for Carlow football as star midfielder Brendan Murphy opts to spend his summer abroad, with the Palatine man deciding to spend the Championship months in the USA, what the Super Eight Championship system means for the coverage of the early rounds of the provincial championships, and Tipperary hurler Jason Forde blames social media for his 2017 ban after tussle with Davy Fitz.

There also talk of Ian Wright's playing career memorabilia being sold for millions without his knowledge, Donald McRae's interview with Jurgen Klopp in The Guardian on Salah, Brexit, and Angela Merkel, and Wesley Hoolohan rules out a return to Shelbourne following the news of his departure from Norwich.

All that and more from today's Backpages on OTB AM. You can watch the show every weekday from 7:45am on FacebookYouTube and Periscope. Check below for this morning's papers and articles from a packed weekend.
