PIC: Raikkonen debuts F1's new cockpit protector

It is intended to protect drivers' heads from flying debris

Ferrari F1 driver Kimi Raikkonen's become the first to drive with the new cockpit safety system.

His car has been fitted with the protective structure during pre-season testing in Barcelona.

It is designed to shield racers from flying debris and it is planned for introduction in 2017.
