As Ireland gear up for phase one of their pursuit of European glory in France, the fans are doing their part to show their support for the national side.

Some people are channelling their support through the creation of banners while others are opting to stamp their adoration on jerseys.

But how many of you would be willing to convert your home into a shrine of Irish tricolour glory? Well John Meehan from Crumlin is happy to answer the call.

This image takes the old adage of 'Ask not what your country can do for you,' to new and inspiring heights. Bravo John.

Hat-tip to journalist Sarah-Jane Murphy for hooking us up with the image.

Off The Ball are heading to France for the Euros. Tune in for their live show from O'Sullivans on the eve of the first game against Sweden.
