Connacht lost, Munster triumphed and Leinster were comprehensively beaten by Ulster

This Bank Holiday weekend was a crucial one for the Irish provinces as the Guinness Pro 12 playoffs take shape. 

If you missed any of the action, first up check out highlights from Ulster's comprehensive 30-6 victory over Leinster, which leaves both sides third and fourth respectively in the table.

Munster put an end to a worrying period with a 27-19 victory over Edinburgh to remain in the Top 6. 

Meanwhile, Connacht still stay second despite the setback of a loss at Benetton Treviso in a surprise result.
