Emery enjoyed an extremely successful career at Sevilla where he won three consecutive Europa League trophies
Paris-Saint Germain have confirmed the appointment of former Sevilla boss Unai Emery on a two-year deal.
The 44-year-old replaces Laurent Blanc who left his position at the club yesterday and takes over having led Sevilla to three consecutvie Europa League trophies.
"It's with great pride that I accept the challenge of coaching PSG," said Emery.
"This club has become one of the biggest in Europe over recent seasons, and I am happy and honoured to help lead it towards achieving its goals."
The move comes as no surprise, with reports linking the Spaniard to the club almost as soon as Blanc had left the club and even before he had former Manchester United defender had gone.
