Padraig Harrington leads trio of golfers representing Ireland at Olympics

Leona Maguire will be involved in the women's competition

Ireland will be represented by Padraig Harrington, Seamus Power and Leona Maguire at the 2016 Olympics golf tournaments.

Harrington and Power will compete in the men's competition after the withdrawals of Shane Lowry, Rory McIlroy and Graeme McDowell.

The duo make it onto the Top 60 Olympic Rankings, with Harrington 43rd and Power 52nd.

America's Bubba Watson is the highest ranked golfer competing in Rio after Jordan Spieth pulled out today.

Maguire will compete in the women's competition. She is 50th in the Olympics Rankings for women.
