Paul O'Donovan's really carrying his Olympic form into the World Rowing Championships

Irish Olympic hero Paul O'Donovan is continuing to impress at the World Rowing Championships in Rotterdam.

The Rio 2016 silver medalist won his quarter-final of the Men's Lightweight Single Sculls this afternoon to progress to the semi-finals with the fastest time from all four races.

He set a time of 06:54.790.

The semi-finals will be held tomorrow afternoon.
