Leicester continue their early season form, Arsenal go top, West Ham move into 3rd and Chelsea are on the brink of a meltdown. Its just another day in the Barclays Premier League.
West Ham 2-1 Chelsea
There's nowhere else to start but at the Boleyn Ground where West Ham claimed three points amid farcical scenes today, consigning Jose Mourinho to his 6th defeat in his last 12 games. The champions had Nemanja Matic sent off late in the first half for a second yellow, had another two players shown yellow for protesting the decision, coach Silvino Louro sent off for berating an assistant referee before Mourinho was shown the way to the stands at the half time break.
Chelsea, who were one down at this stage thanks to Mauro Zarate's finish (below), did manage to stage a second half fightback when Gary Cahill smashed home an equaliser from 6 yards out.

However, Andy Carroll was sprung from the bench and headed home a winner and his first Premier League goal in 279 days. The result pushes West Ham into second place while the Blues continue for Chelsea, who sit in 15th place.
Arsenal 2-1 Everton
The side above the Hammers are Arsenal, who continue their good run of form with a home win against Everton. The game was played in heavy rainfall and it hampered the quality on show, dampening the atmosphere, but the crowd found their voice again after a first half double salvo from the Gunners.
Mesut Ozil impressed yet again and he was the provider the first, with his pin point cross being met by Olivier Giroud who glanced header into the back of the net. The lead was doubled two minutes later when Laurent Koscienly headed home a Santi Cazorla free. The Toffees did respond when Ross Barkley's shot took a wicked deflection and left Petr Cech helpless. The game opened up in the second half but Everton couldn't find an equaliser as Arsenal held firm.
Aston Villa 1-2 Swansea
Tim Sherwood will be feeling hot under the collar after another defeat leaves Villa in 19th place and at risk of losing touch with the teams above them. The Ayew brothers, Jordan and Andre, dominated the pre-match talk as they lined out opposite one another, and they lived up to the billing as Jordan put Villa ahead just after the hour mark.
The relief Sherwood felt was visible, but it was short lived as free-kick specialist Gylfi Sigurdsson levelled matters with a dead ball effort from 25 yards out, before older brother Andre netted the winner in the closing stages.

Leicester 1-0 Crystal Palace
Two sides enjoying an excellent start to the season met at the Kingpower Stadium earlier, and it was the Foxes who came out on top to consolidate 5th place for at least another week. The winner came from man of the moment Jamie Vardy, who scored in his seventh successive game.
The former Fleetwood Town striker scored his ninth Premier League goal of the season as Leicester keep up their remarkable run of form. Crystal Palace remain in fifth until tomorrow at the least.

Stoke 0-2 Watford
Watford pulled off a minor shock at the Brittania Stadium as they make their way back to London with three points. Troy Deeney's first Premier League gave the Hornets the lead after good link up play with Odion Ighalo, while the Nigerian striker was involved in the second as he teed up Almen Abdi to fire home and seal the win in the second half.
The result puts Watford on 13 points in 13th place, continuing their early season push away from the relegation zone, while Stoke are one point and place behind the Hornets.

Norwich 0-1 West Brom Albion
James McClean lended a helping hand as the Baggies took the three points from this one, with the Derryman's cross being headed home by Salomon Rondon. The result pushes Tony Pulis' charges seven places up the table into 8th, while Norwich continue to struggle to adapt to life back in the Premier League, hovering a little too close for comfort above the relegation zone in 16th.
