Technically all four Irish provinces were in Guinness Pro 12 action over the weekend.

But only three matches ended in actual results as Connacht's match at Zebre had to be abandoned early in the second half due to a violent thunderstorm and will have to replayed in full.

Reigning champions Connacht were trailing 22-10 at the time the game was stopped.

Meanwhile, Leinster, Ulster and Munster all managed wins - some more narrowly than others as you will see in the highlights.

Ulster 19-8 Scarlets

 Edinburgh 20-33 Leinster

Dragons 16-20 Munster
