Real Madrid's Dani Caravajal was at a GAA match in Kerry on the weekend

The second round of the Kerry Senior Football Championship took place in Killorglin on the weekend, and there were plenty of people in attendance to watch the games.

Mid Kerry defeated Dingle and Milltown/Castlemaine beat East Kerry in two tightly-fought matches, both of which went to extra time.

Among all the supporters however, there was one person who stood out from the crowd: Real Madrid defender Dani Caravajal.

The Spanish international was in Ireland ahead of the Champions League final against city neighbours Atlético Madrid to enjoy a short break, and was an interested spectator for the football.

Speaking to Balls.ie, one of the other supporters in the crowd said that he revealed that he was in Ireland as his partner was on an exchange program in Kerry, and that it was "very random" to bump into him at the game.

The 24-year-old will be have a busy few months ahead as he will be in action for his club side on Saturday in the Champions League final, and is set to tog out for Spain in the Euros. Still, it might be worth keeping an eye out for him at other Championship games throughout the summer just in case.
