Rhys Ruddock captains Leinster against Connacht

A win for Leo Cullen's men will see them secure a home Guinness PRO12 semi-final

Leinster head coach Leo Cullen has named Rhys Rudduck as captain for Saturday's clash with Connacht in Galway.

The Dublin based side enter the match knowing a win will secure them a home semi-final in Guinness PRO12 Championship for the end of season play-offs.

In all, Cullen makes 11 changes to the team that won last weekend at the Ospreys. 

Cian Healy, James Tracy and Mike Ross will pack down in the front row with Ross Molony and Hayden Triggs starting at lock.

Dominic Ryan and Josh Van Der Flier join Rhys Ruddock in the back row.

Luke McGrath and Ross Byrne are named at half back while Noel Reid and Rory O'Laughlin start in the centre.

The back three sees Dave Kearney and Adam Byrne starting on the wings with Zane Kirchner at full-back.  

Sean Cronin, Peter Dooley, Michael Bent, Ian Nagle, Peadar Timmins, Nick McCarthy, Tom Daly and Barry Daly are all named on the bench.
