The FAI have confirmed that the Republic of Ireland will be without Robbie Brady for Sunday's World Cup qualifier with Moldova in Chisinau.

Brady was substituted in the second-half of Ireland's 1-0 win with Georgia after a clash of heads and spent Thursday night in a Dublin hospital. The Norwich striker did not travel with the team to Moldova.

Having picked up a yellow card in the Thursday night win, Jeff Hendrick has been suspended for Sunday's game, but has still travelled with Martin O'Neill's team.

The Burnley midfielder will train with the team on Saturday afternoon, ahead of the game, which is the first meeting between the two sides.

Along with the game on Sunday evening, Serbia play Austria in Belgrade, while Wales welcome Georgia to Cardiff.
