Robbie Brady's stunning free kick denied Chelsea the win that would have taken them 12 points clear at the top of the premier league.

Speaking to Off the Ball's Dave McIntyre after the match he said: It's not a bad start. I'm a bit disappointed with my performance but the lads made up for it.

"I felt I didn't hold the ball well enough. I've still got a lot more to come from me but I'm happy with the goal and happy to put a little stamp on a good performance today.

Speaking on life at his new club he said: "It appeals to me, I'm dying to get going. I'll write that one off now and put it down to a good goal and we move on to next week.

Commenting on his goal, the Republic of Ireland international said: He (Joey Barton) had a chat with me just before it was taken and said 'we'll just see where the wall line up' and he knew I fancied it and he left it to me which I was happy enough. I just said thanks to him inside there. He's over the moon. He said he'd give me them every week if I can do that."
