Rodgers aiming to keep momentum going

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers is aiming to keep their impressive season ticking over with a win against Ross county on Sunday.

The champions are undefeated in domestic competition this season and have eyes on a historic treble. However, Rodgers is hoping to keep the momentum going as the season heads to a climax.

Speaking to the club's official website ahead of the match, Rodgers said: "We’re clear how we want to approach the game. What’s important is that we don’t lose rhythm and momentum - that’s key. There’s no holding back and we go there to win the game.

“I really enjoyed my trip up there previously. It’s a lovely stadium with a really nice pitch. Jim McIntyre has done an excellent job and we’ll anticipate a tough game.”

Speaking about the performances of his team so far this season, he said: "For me, my team has been brilliant. You could go through my whole squad and there should be a good few of them on the list, players that have performed consistently at a really high level.

“I have the best players - the best players are playing for Celtic. There are some very, very good players that I’ve come across in the league like Jonny Hayes, Kenny MacLean and Niall McGinn at Aberdeen who’ve been very good. Of course, I look at my own and I don’t think I’d swap any of them.”
