Roma have parted company with Head Coach Luciano Spalletti after he guided his side to a second placed finish in Serie A this season.
It brings to an end his second period at the club having also managed them between 2005-2009.
“We would like to place on record our sincere thanks to Luciano Spalletti for all of his hard work and the significant contribution he has made to the club since his return," said Roma President Jim Pallotta.
“Under his stewardship this season, the team has won more Serie A points and scored more goals than any side in Roma’s history. We wish Luciano all the best for the future.
“This club is on a constant path of growth and that will continue with the appointment of a new coach who shares our values and philosophy and who will continue to help us take AS Roma forward,” he added.
His last game in charge was a dramatic 3-2 win over Genoa which also saw the club bid farewell to legendary striker Francesco Totti after his 786th appearance for the club.
The win secured Roma's place in the group stages of next season's Champions League.
