Ronaldo offered mega deal to play in China

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly been offered a bumper €292 million deal to play in China according to his agent, Jorge Mendes.

The Portuguese star recently signed a new deal with Spanish giants Real Madrid keeping him in the Spanish capital until 2021.

Mendes was speaking to Sky Italia and said: "The Chinese market is a new market. They can buy a lot of players, but it is impossible to go for Ronaldo.

"Cristiano is the best player in the world and best ever. It is normal to have some offers," he added.

The player reportedly has no interest in the deal with his agent adding: "From China, they've offered €300m to Real Madrid and more than €100m per year to the player.

"But money is not everything. The Spanish club is his life," he added.

Ronaldo has enjoyed a successful 2016 winning the UEFA Champions League, the European Super Cup, the FIFA World Club Championships with his club side and EURO 2016 with Portugal.

The Chinese league is currently enticing some of the world's biggest stars with Oscar and Carlos Tevez recently signing deals to play there.
