Henshaw and Conan return for Leinster, while O'Brien and McGrath face late fitness tests

Stuart Lancaster has confirmed that Robbie Henshaw and Jack Conan are set to return from injury for Leinster this weekend ahead of their Champions Cup semi-final with Scarlets, though late fitness tests will be required before they make a decision on Sean O'Brien and Luke McGrath.

On the fitness concerns over Henshaw, who suffered a shoulder injury against Italy during the Six Nations, Lancaster said he has no concerns over the shoulder, and talked up Henshaw's physical performance in training recently.

"He wouldn't be given the green light to play if it(his shoulder) wasn't 100% functional, so he'll be fine".

"Robbie's in better condition than I've ever seen him. If you look at how they measure his speed, he's achieved his quickest speed, he's done his best fitness test. He looks lean and fit".

Lancaster also said that Jack Conan is fit, though they will make a call tomorrow on whether Luke McGrath and Sean O'Brien will be called into the squad, which is something they're prepared for if that's not the case.

"It's a game of such significance, he knows that himself so he wants to be 100% right, and we know that also. We have people like Jordi(Murphy) obviously, Dan Leavy, and Scott Fardy played at no.6 against Saracens, and with Jack Conan coming back it's a big bonus for us".

"Seanie will push hard, same with Luke McGrath, but obviously we'll have to make those decisions in the next 24 hours to get some cohesion into the starting team".

"Today is not the critical day really, tomorrow is when we need to be nailing it down, so he'd(O'Brien) be 50/50 I'd say".
