As Manchester United look to make a number of changes in the summer, it could be the end of Michael Carrick's time at the club.

According to The Sun, he is currently listening to offers from other clubs, even though Manchester United are looking to extend his current deal. He is believed to be looking at an opportunity to join Newcastle, while also listening to offers from Major League Soccer in the United States.

Carrick joined from Tottenham in 2006, and The Daily Star report that they may be headed back there looking for a few more signings, as scouts from the club have been at Spurs' last four games compiling dossiers on Harry Kane and Dele Alli. Tottenham have also apparently told Manchester United to keep their hands off Danny Rose, according to The Sunday People.

Sticking to the topic of Manchester United, there's more bad news for the fans as The Sunday Express claim that the Glazers have called for there to be cuts made of 15% across the board behind the scenes.

Chelsea have reportedly started making plans for life without Eden Hazard, should the Belgian decide that he wants to leave the London club in the summer. There are reports that he could be tempted by a move to Real Madrid or Paris Saint-Germain, and Chelsea would look to replace him with Antoine Griezmann of Atlético Madrid.

With both La Liga sides having their bans suspended, they will look to make moves in the summer also, which means the deal for David de Gea is back on the table, as The Mirror claim that they are to launch a fresh bid to sign him and are determined to get it over the line this time.

Leicester have missed out on one of their earlier targets in the shape of Nigel de Jong, who will join Robbie Keane and Ashley Cole at LA Galaxy for the coming season, but that doesn't meant that they're finished their dealings yet. Claudio Ranieri is believed to be close to agreeing a deal for Loic Remy as support for Jamie Vardy up front.

The Sunday Independent say that their £11.5 million bid has been accepted by Chelsea, but should that deal fail to come through, Ranieri is also keen on signing Dwight Gayle, as he looks to add a few more goals to his side as they continue to dream of a Premier League title win.

The John Stones saga looks set to start up again, and while Chelsea were the last team in for him, it seems that Manchester City have joined the queue, with The Sunday Mirror claiming that they £50 million in hand to complete the deal.

After wangling his way out of his contract with Chile, it seems that Jorge Sampaoli is now top of the list for Chelsea in their race to sign a new manager, and should he be installed in the hotseat, his first move would be to try and sign the man he managed to Copa América glory with Chile in Alexis Sánchez.

Elsewhere, Everton have had a £13.5 million bid accepted for Oumar Niasse from Lokomotiv Moscow; Chelsea are looking to sign Borussia Dortmund defender Matthias Ginter; Spurs have hit a snag in their deal for Moussa Dembélé (the other one); and Newcastle are hoping that a late swoop for Bafetimbi Gomis will pay off.
