Eddie Howe's side have now broken the 40 point mark while Sunderland's 10 year stay in the top division is over.

Burnley took a huge step towards survival with a hard fought 2-0 win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Goals from Ashley Barnes and Andre Gray gave Sean Dyche's men a valuable three points and moved them closer to safety on 39 points.

Leicester continued their good recent form with a 1-0 win away to West Brom. Jamie Vardy scored the only goal of the game just before half time.
