He is 7-over after two days of action
Padraig Harrington has endured another tough day at the Nedbank Sun City Challenge in South Africa.
The three-time major champion is 7-over after a 75 on Day 2.
Round 1 on Thursday had already left the Dubliner well off the pace as he sat down on 4-over ahead of Friday's action.
It was a marginally better round today as he finished 3-over for the day, one shot better than yesterday.
While the front nine had troubled Harrington on Day 1, it was the back-nine that cost him today.
Going into the turn on 2-under for the day thanks to an eagle on the ninth, he bogeyed the 11th, 13th, 14th, 16th and 17th holes.
Alex Noren now holds the lead outright on 8-under, two shots clear of the field.
Three South Africans are in a tie for second on 6-under, including Louis Oosthuizen, George Coetzee and Jaco van Zyl.
England's Danny Willett had another poor day, but the other big contender to finish top of the European Tour money list has also suffered.
Henrik Stenson will claim the Race to Dubai if he wins this tournament.
The Swede was a shot away from the lead going into the second round. But he is now seven shots off pace-setter Noren.
Willett is 5-over-par.
