Champions League permutations - Liverpool and Spurs on the brink!

Virgin Media Sport, the new home of European football in Ireland.

All bar two groups are decided in tonight's UEFA Champion's League games. Let's take a look at the permutations from Groups B & C. Virgin Media have you covered, the new home of European football in Ireland.

Group B

Barcelona are already through as Group B winners, the major battle will be between Spurs and Inter Milan who both have chance of joining the Londoners in the last 16.

PSV Eindhoven's European year will come to an end, as they will finish bottom regardless of a positive result

Tottenham, Hotspurs are currently second on head-to-head away goals. The north London club will only progress if they win in the Nou Camp or finish, points wise, better Inter's result at home to PSV Eindhoven.

Featured game: Tottenham Hotspur v Barcelona, Tuesday 11 December, KO 8pm on Virgin Media Sport.

Group C

Liverpool, Napoli and PSG can all still qualify for the last-16, and Red Star Belgrade can still claim a Europa League spot - so it's all to play for.

The most complicated of possible outcomes means current group leaders Napoli, second-placed Paris St Germain and Liverpool, in third, can still all qualify. Red Star Belgrade are bottom of the table, but could yet make it through to the last 32 of the Europa League.

Liverpool must beat Napoli in Anfield tonight, a win by more than a single goal to ensure qualification.

If PSG beat Red Star away, Jurgen Klopp's men will need a 1-0 triumph or victory by two goals or more to finish second behind the French side, but any other margins will not suffice.

If the Parisien's draw in Belgrade, Liverpool will advance with any win as it would leave the scousers, PSG and Napoli all on 9 points Liverpool would finish on top with the English club finishing first on the three-way head-to-head.

Red Star will take third place if they win and Liverpool lose.
