Tottenham Hotspur have released a cautiously positive update on the ankle injury sustained by Harry Kane at the weekend.
The striker injured his ankle after taking a shot early in their quarter-final FA Cup tie against Millwall at White Hart Lane.
There were fears in the white half of north London that Tottenham's star striker could miss the rest of the season as he had injured the same ankle in a Premier League match against Sunderland last September.

However, the club released the following statement: "The injury is similar to the one suffered by the forward against Sunderland in September last year, however it is not considered to be as severe.
Harry will continue to be assessed by our medical staff while he undergoes his rehabilitation at our Training Centre."

Spurs hammered Millwall 6-0 in Kane's absence and have been drawn against Chelsea in the semi-final of the cup.
They entertain Southampton at home in the league this weekend.
