Steph Curry to miss at least two weeks of the NBA Playoffs with a knee injury

Golden State Warriors' nightmares are finally becoming reality with the news that Steph Curry is to miss at least two weeks of the NBA Playoffs after sustaining a knee injury on Sunday night.

The NBA's MVP suffered a Grade 1 MCL sprain in Game 4 of the Western Conference First Round against the Houston Rockets. Curry failed to feature in the second-half as the team won 121-94.

The Warriors play Houston on Wednesday night, needing one more win to advance to the Western Conference Semi-Finals. They currently lead the best-of-seven series 3-1.

If the Warriors advance to the next round, the will face either the Los Angeles Clippers or Portland Trail Blazers who are tied at two wins each after four games. Curry is expected to miss out on the semi-finals in their entirety.

After the news was revealed of the severity of the injury, the 28-year-old took to Twitter claiming he was "gonna be alright".

If the Warriors are to retain their NBA title, they will have to play for at least a quarter of the Playoffs without their star attraction.
