Reigning Olympic champion Katie Taylor is out of the Rio Games.
The London 2012 gold medal winner was facing Mira Potkonen of Finland in her women's lightweight quarter-final, losing by split decision.
Taylor edged the first round with the Bray boxer up on two judges' cards and her opponent deemed to have won it by the third arbiter.

But the second round proved to be a setback as Potkonen edged that and the third.
And after the fourth round, with the result expected to be tight, the judges awarded Potkonen the victory by split decision.

Judge B had called the fight level but in the end, deemed that Potkonen was the winner with Judge A having adjudged that Taylor should go through.
