Team Ireland will be heading to the ninth European Transplant & Dialysis Sports Championships.
They will be flying from Dublin Airport next Sunday for the competition which runs from July 10th to 17th in Vantaa, Finland.
The adult Ireland team ranges in age from 18 to 78 and includes six dialysis patients as well as liver, kidney and pancreas transplant recipients.
Two weeks later, nine members of the 28 strong adult team will participate in the British Transplant Games in Liverpool from July 28th to 31st.
Seven children aged between 10 and 16 who have received heart, liver and kidney transplants will also form part of that team.
