In America, the NFL and Thanksgiving go hand-in-hand.
Each year, the Detroit Lions and Dallas Cowboys play at home on front of massive domestic television audiences. This year the Indianapolis Colts also welcomed the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Detroit defeated the Minnesota Vikings, Dallas were winners at home to the Washington Redskins, while the Steelers were the only away winners of the day.
Pittsburgh's Antonio Brown was one of the stars of the day, scoring three times in the win for the AFC North side.
Brown features heavily in the week's roundup (on a Friday, and not a Monday).
Normal service resumes next week.
