The world of horse racing is in mourning on Tuesday morning, with the news that JT McNamara died overnight, aged 41.
A native of Limerick, McNamara's career was tragically cut short when he fell off a horse at the 2013 Cheltenham Festival, which resulted in paralysis from the neck down.

If anyone is unsure as to just how good a horseman JT McNamara was, watch his ride on Rith Dubh at the 2002 Festival. It was perfect. RIPJT
