Tiger Woods' second round runs far more smoothly than his Day 1 as comeback continues

Tiger Woods carded an impressive score on the second round of his first golf tournament since making his comeback from injury.

The former world number one made a 7-under-par 65 at the Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas.

His first day had started positively but ended with an over par round on Thursday.

But Friday's action saw him make a good start with birdies on the 1st, 6th and 9th holes.

Unlike Thursday, he maintained that momentum as he closed out the round.

Four birdies on the 11th, 12th, 14th and 15th holes to pick up an impressive seven shots in total for the day and rise up the leaderboard.

Woods, who has been out of action for around 16 months, ended up playing the round on his own after partner Justin Rose pulled out with a back problem.
