Two horses die on opening day of Aintree Grand National

Neither death was associated with a fall

Two horses have died during the opening day of the Grand National meeting at Aintree.

Clonbanan Lad and Marasonnien were both going in the Fox Hunters' Chase.

They collapsed after being pulled up by their jockeys.

Neither death was associated with a fall however.
