Jon Jones will make his eagerly awaited comeback on the card.
A date has been set for Jon Jones' long awaited return to the octagon, as he has been penciled in for a chance to regain his light heavyweight title from Daniel Cormier.
The former divisional champ will fight inside the Octagon for the first time in over a year at UFC 197 following a hit and run incident that saw him sentenced to 18-months on probation.
It will be the second time the two will meet in a title bout, with Jones getting the upper hand the last time.
The card will see the top two pound for pound fighters in action with the co-main event also being a title fight with flyweight champ Demetrious Johnson looking to defend his belt against Henry Cejudo.
Johnson is currently on a 10 fight winning streak but faces an Olympic gold medalist in wrestling with a 10-0 professional record(4-0 in the UFC).
UFC 197 will take place on April 23rd, and should prove to be another money spinner for the UFC as it comes straight off the back of the McGregor-Dos Anjos superfight at UFC196 on March 5th, with Jones already giving his verdict on the outcome of that one.
