Tyrone beat Cavan in the National Football League

They now top Division one

Tyrone recorded a 0-19 to 1-09 win over a game Cavan side at Healy Park to top Division 1 of the Allianz Football League.

Mickey Harte's unbeaten side won despite trailing 1-08 to 0-07 at the interval but a commanding second half display saw them home with a seven point gap.

Gearoid McKieranan starred with 1-04 for the Breffni men in the opening half.

However, Tyrone, playing with the wind in the second half, kept Cavan down to a single point in the second period and two late points from Ronan O'Neill sealed the win for the Red Hand.
