Urijah Faber believes Nate Diaz is "just a bad matchup" for Conor McGregor

Urijah Faber has weighed in on the possible rematch between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz that could be in the works for UFC 200.

The bantamweight UFC star seems to believe that the fight will be going ahead, even though the Irishman "got whooped" in the last meeting between the two.

Faber stated that he had been trying to tell McGregor to work on his jiu jitsu, but that "a lot of people don't know how tough Diaz is".

"Conor's a good fighter, but Diaz is a more well-rounded fighter. He's just as big if not bigger, it's just a bad matchup [...] it's a tough fight for him to win. He's always got those heavy hands, but Diazes are known for taking a beating and coming back stronger".

Faber also revealed that he got the call to face Conor from Dana White when Rafael Dos Anjos pulled out, and accepted it, but it was McGregor's decision  to take on Diaz.

Speaking about a possible matchup against McGregor, Faber said it would also be a bad matchup for the Irishman : "I've got the most submissions in UFC history, and he has a history of submitting".
