RTE have released footage of clashes between Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers fans during Friday night's SSE Airtricity League clash between the two teams in Dalymount Park.

The scenes clearly show fans from both sides running across a section of the pitch to try and get near the opposition's fans as Gardai and stewards tried to stop many fans.

On Friday night, Bohemians released a statement condemning a "small minority" of fans. "Bohemian FC wishes to express our disappointment with the small minority in attendance who were responsible for causing crowd disturbances which interrupted tonight's game against Shamrock Rovers at Dalymount Park.

The club will work closely with stewards and An Garda Síochána to identify the individuals responsible"

Shamrock Rovers have yet to comment on the behaviour of their fans at the game.

The win moved the Tallaght-based side up to fourth place. Bohemians drop to eighth after the loss.
