WATCH: Take a virtual tour of the new Páirc Uí Chaoimh

Páirc Uí Chaoimh is set to reopen this June.

The home of Cork GAA has been closed since 2014, with the Munster Hurling Final between Cork and Limerick being the last senior inter-county match to take place in the venue.

Ahead of the stadium's reopening, a video showing how Páirc Uí Chaoimh will look upon completion has been revealed. With stands on both sides of the pitch, and terraces behind both goals, the new capacity of the stadium will be over 40,000.

While the stadium looks outstanding from pitchside, the Cork venue also boasts a number of other facilities that will make it the envy of counties around the country. The South Stand boasts a Premium Level, where conferences will also be able to be facilitated.

The stadium is also in line to become one of the main outdoor concert venues in the south of the country. The stadium have previously hosted the likes of U2, Michael Jackson, Bruce Springsteen and Oasis, and will hope to entice the quality of those artists back to Cork in the coming years.

No official date or event has been set for the reopening.
