Manchester United, Tottenham and Liverpool were all in action in the Europa League on Thursday night, meaning it was very easy to miss out on what happened in the other games around the continent.

Without doubt, the goal of the night came in Marseille, as Athletic Bilbao striker Aritz Aduriz scored the give the Basque side a 1-0 win. Aduriz has undergone a career renaissance this season, scoring over 25 goals this season in all competitions.

The 35-year-old has made one appearance for Spain. That cap came in 2010 in a Euro 2012 qualifier against Lithuania. Despite his age, Aduriz remains one of the best strikers in Spain this season. With goals like the one scored against Marseille, it is easy to see why many are calling for Aduriz's seat on the plane to France in the summer.
