Australia's Michael Hooper tired every trick in the book to try and win as his side took on England in their second test on Saturday.

In the scrum, he even tried some tricks which are definitely not in the book as he went for an underhanded tactic in his attempts to distract James Haskell.

As the replays from the overhead camera showed, Hooper reached down into the grass and looked for, as they refer to it in professional wrestling, a "foreign object" to introduce into the fray by throwing something resembling sand into his opposite number's eyes.

It wasn't enough to help Australia to the win however, as they ran out 23-7 winners.
