UCD have booked their place in the semi finals of the Sigerson Cup after a 1-18 to 0-9 over UUJ.

The only goal of the game came from the boot of Conor McCarthy in the second half. That contributed to his tally of 1-2 for the day.

Dublin senior stars Jack McCaffrey, Paul Mannion and Michael Fitzsimons all featured for UCD as they advanced to the next stage.

Mannion scored 0-7, although only one of those came from open play with 0-6 from frees.

There is one more quarter final this evening, with IT Carlow facing UCC with throw in at 6pm.

Thursday will see UL and DIT play at UL Grounds in the fourth quarter final match.
