WATCH: French prop suffers broken nose when pre-match ritual goes wrong

Pre-match rituals vary from sport to sport and from athlete to athlete.

Their purpose is simple: to get a player in the zone before they start playing and give them a psychological edge over their opponents.

However, this French prop took it one step too far when he headbutted a teammate of regional French team, RC Cubzaguais (to possibly to prepare himself for the collisions he'd suffer over the course of the game) and broke his own nose.
