On the weekend, at the All-Ireland Junior club semi-final, there was a technical mishap with the PA system that was used to play the national anthem.

The song cut off barely a few notes in, but thankfully, an official who was identified as Seán Ó Suilleabháin was on hand to step in. On a mere moment's notice, he struck up a rendition of Amhrán na bhFiann to save the day.

Carrick on Shannon's Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada was the scene for the match, and on Tuesday Leitrim GAA managed to get their hands on some footage of Ó Suilleabháin's version of the national anthem, which they shared on their Facebook page.
