Ireland will be taking a well earned rest day today after their heroics in Lille last night, but for everyone else the show must go on.

Fans up and down the country littered the streets in celebration of Robbie Brady's goal and the result that means we now meet France in the knockout stages of the competition on this Sunday.

The goal will take it's place in Irish footballing folklore alongside Shane Long's strike against Germany last year and Ray Houghton's header against England.

Of course, our own Off The Ball team were on hand to provide updates, and the magical moment created afterwards will be hard to forget.
